Research and publications
Prosentient Systems has been engaged in the development of data-intensive internet information systems for over 20 years. Dr. Edmund Balnaves, the Director of R&D at Prosentient Systems, is actively engaged in research in the area of systematic digital content management, desktop services supporting digital archiving and the information commons.
Edmund is a member of ALIA (Australian Library Information Association), IEEE, and is a standing committee member of the Information Technology Section of IFLA (International Federation of Library Associations). He is also a member of the Curtin research group Researching the Information Commons and has published widely in his areas of interest.
