Library services
Intersearch is our line of library management software, integrating our own specialist systems with the best open source applications in the information management software space.
Our inter-library loans system, Interloans is used by hundreds of libraries in the region, including the GratisNet and ALIES networks. Our flagship open source service is the Koha Library Management System, choice of thousands of libraries around the world and the DSpace repository for digital library holdings. These are teamed with Prosentient's own popular document delivery systems: Interloans and Interdocs.
These applications are available as single products that can be configured and hosted for a low monthly fee, or as a comprehensive package with integration and workflow as required.
Common examples of integration include:
- use Koha to index e-resources stored in DSpace to provide a unified catalogue of library holdings
- integrate Koha with Interloans, allowing small libraries to band together and offer inter-library loans
- integrate Interloan with Interdocs to facilitate document delivery
