After completing a Bachelor of Applied Science (Information) at UTS in 1995 Melanie worked in the finance industry as a research and information officer before moving into web development. Mel has more than ten years experience building web-based applications for corporate websites and intranets in the insurance industry. She now works as a web programmer with Prosentient Systems.

New options for Koha rotating title display

One of Prosentient's more popular Koha modifications has been the rotating Banner of new titles for the home page of our clients' OPACs. Today we've made a further enhancement to give our users more control over what exactly displays there.

StandaloneLMS documentation

One enhancement Prosentient has made to Koha is a modified Self-Checkout system that can work offline. Koha has a browser based self-checkout system built in, but the main difference is that the StandaloneLMS doesn't require a connection to your remote database.
